This investment was specifically structured to facilitate an informed evaluation for prospective transaction processes by identifying existing technical constraints, legacy engineering defects, asset conditions, operational optimizations, and future opportunities associated with the power plants.

Consultancy Services: Technical Due Diligence assessment of the Sitti I and Sitti II Hydropower Plants.

Consultant: NS Engineering Associates Ltd (NSEAL), Uganda

Contract Scope:

• Providing a professional evaluation of the physical assets, engineering systems, operational status, and associated risks of the two power plants.

• Executing the assessment according to specific instructions developed by the Arup team and within the limits of the Site Visit Protocols.

• Conducting extensive physical walkdowns, capturing photographic coverage of various plant aspects, and holding discussions with the Operations team.

• Identifying existing technical constraints, legacy engineering defects, current asset conditions, operational optimizations, and future opportunities.

• Specifically visiting and inspecting critical infrastructure, including intake systems, low-pressure conveyance systems, forebays/surge tanks, penstocks, power houses, and substations/switch yards.
